The Ngee Ann Kongsi COVID-19 Relief Fund for Teochews (*Extension from 02 Nov 2020)
A one-time funding support of S$500.00 for Teochews, who are Singapore citizens aged at least 21 and affected economically by the impact of COVID-19 pandemic.
Extension of Application Period
1 May 2021 to 31 December 2021 or till the Relief Fund is fully disbursed, whichever is earlier.
Revised Eligibility Criteria
- Singapore Citizen of Teochew descent (patrilineal), aged at least 21.
- One application per household (Note: *Previous successful applicants are not eligible).
- Applicant must be unemployed or experienced salary loss of at least 30% from all jobs as part-time or full-time employee as at the date of application (Reasons for unemployment: retrenchment or contract termination. Unemployment or salary loss of at least 30% must take place after 23 Jan 2020 when the first case of COVID-19 occurred in Singapore).
- Per Capital Household Income (PCHI) is S$3,000 or below before the loss of job/ salary loss of at least 30%.
